The MRTF has actively engaged with and supported turfgrass research and education at Purdue University for over 75 years. The strong working relationship with leadership in the College of Agriculture has led to improved research facilities, student support, and an increase in turf faculty.
Monies from the Foundation help support turf research and student education efforts. Further, the Foundation works closely with Purdue University faculty to offer education throughout the year aimed at the wide range of topics important to the turf industry.
