The MRTF Award of Achievement, established in 2005, was created to honor those who unselfishly have given to the Midwest Regional Turf Foundation, the turf industry, or the Purdue University Turf Program. The award recognizes those who have made a significant contribution to improving the turfgrass industry in Indiana while also demonstrating high standards of professional and personal conduct.

This year, our winners were Jeff Sexton {Evansville Country Club}, Dan Dinelli (and the Dinelli Family) {Northshore Country Club}, and Bob Freske – posthumously {Advanced Turf Solutions; retired}. We were able to celebrate their achievements at a wonderful reception held at Walt’s Pub & Grill in West Lafayette the evening before the Turf & Landscape Field Day. It was a packed house to honor these amazing industry professionals and their families for their impact on the industry!
