The second in our series of Turfgrass IPM modules (Managing Soil Insects) is now open and available for Indiana certification credits (1 CCH). Here is a link to the module. This six-week course covers managing soil insects like white grubs, provides basic training for turfgrass management professionals hoping to be able to identify white grubs associated with turfgrass, understand the biological characteristics that make them pest, and be able to formulate effective management strategies.

Six additional states have also approved this module for pesticide applicator credits and that list of states will be updated as approvals are processed through Purdue Online and the various state agencies.

The cost for enrollment is $35 and, once enrolled, you will have 6 weeks to complete the 1 hour module. This is something you can do at your convenience.
